Well said. . . If history be our guide, each generation will most likely fall for the same deceptive tactics.
Humans have a built in genetic floor, in that money and power can easily be abused, as in the study u quoted. This genetic floor requires a level of will to compete against its dark forces. I call it a faith in a Higher power. "Do unto others, as u would have them do to u," comes to mind.
Essentially each generation is being tried & tested, for those who will hold true to what is noble, honest, kind, sincere, gracious & loving and upon leaving this world will have left it, in a better place by their presence.
Such people I believe will enter a new Kingdom, based on these noble traits. That Kingdom message was brought to us by a man who walked the earth some 2000 yrs ago with a message of forgiveness and love, only to be crucified.
So we have been granted an opportunity to choose. Many are called, but few are chosen.
